COLLEEN SCHENCK

Colleen Schenck is an artist and art educator, working primarily in metal and mixed media collage. She has a B.A. in studio art and a M.F.A. in Jewelry and Metalwork. She has exhibited her work in Arizona, Mexico, the Bay Area and Mendocino County, California. Ancient and historical art forms as well as her personal life influence her wearable, one of a kind jewelry. Her collage work is a more spontaneous and immediate expression, utilizing beautiful papers, and both personal and historical images coming together in narratives, real and imagined.
