ANTOINETTE VON GRONE
Antoinette von Grone started her business in 1980 in Hamburg, Germany. She studied textile design and fashion (Applied Arts in Hannover Germany and Vienna, Austria) (private Houte Couture school in Paris, France) and started her carrier painting one of a kind silk - clothes, - scarves and tapestries. In the mid 1990s she switched to painting canvases, murals and tiles in different mediums. Today she paints mostly in oil on canvas. Her subject matter ranges from portraits to the rural to the surreal anthropomorphic, the latter two express her love for animals.
Her work is sold at the Erickson Fine Art Gallery in Healdsburg, CA. Studio visits are welcome by appointment. She has an array of fine art prints and cards for sale. She participates in AV Open Studios.
